Same model as the one with the 052,414 benchmark, but on a different scale, static model and treated with a wooden hull to build.
Easy to build with all parts precut laser model.
The box contains all the wooden parts and all deck fittings.
RS 1 was built in 1893 for Society for Shipwreck Salvage Norvegian shipyard Colin Archer of Rekkevig near Larvik, Norway.
RS 1 was later named Colin Archer.
Its tapered nose gave him his worldwide reputation.
Larvik shipyard has built over 200 of these interesting vessels.
‘sColin Archer RS 1 had a checkered past, having served as a rescue ship for 40 years, it was sold to private interests, crossed the Atlantic in 1938 having suffered from severe storms in North Carolina, only to be found in a wreck on the Potomac River in 1960.
Finally in April 1972, the oldest ship Norwegian rescue was given at the Maritime Museum of Norway in Oslo.
The boat was completely restored again to be admired.
Today Colin Archer is one of the most visited Northern Europe vessels.
