It was built as a training ship in 1933 Nakskov Shipyard in Denmark.
Since then, it has provided basic training young people considering a career at sea.
The ship is owned by the Kingdom of Denmark and has its home port there.
It is able to navigate around the world, however in recent years, it has only sailed in European waters.
On special occasions, he crossed the Atlantic Ocean to visit the United States, where the ship remained during the Second World War and provided training U.S.
