Sir Thomas Lipton is considered the most persistent challenger in the history of the America’sCup.In 30 years, he tried to pull 5 times the prestigious cup hands of the Americans, but without success.
But Lipton realized that mere participation in such an important regatta has been a very valuable publicity for his product: tea.Our model is one of the first Shamrock who lost against Columbia in 1899.
