Productbeschrijving : HURRICANE MK.IIC
The Hawker Hurricane was the most widely used fighter by the British Royal Air Force at the start of World War II. It contributed significantly to the final victory of the RAF during the Battle of Britain in 1940 then it was gradually supplanted in its role as fighter by the Spitfire, much more modern and efficient. However, the Hurricane continued to be used for ground attack and close support missions, notably in this version equipped with four 20mm cannons in place of the traditional 7.7mm machine guns. Additionally, the Hurricane Mk.IIC was used effectively in the night fighter role.
