Swedish royal ship, the Vasa sank in Stockholm harbor on its maiden voyage in 1628.
Through a primitive diving bell, 53 of the 64 guns were saved in 1664.
In 1961, it was possible to put in dry dock and to restore the Wasa Museum was opened the following year.
Length 70 m, width 11.5 m, draft 4.80 m, sail area 1,150 m2, crew of 133 sailors and 300 soldiers.
In a very richly decorated, this model is designed exactly according to the original plans.
Model all wood, lined frames.
All deck fittings to complete the model are contained in the box which also contains all the parts pre-cut wood.
